Preya & Med Culmer were deeply affected by their years spent living in Indonesia where they witnessed the devastating effects of palm oil cultivating.

They decided when they returned home that they would start creating their own bodycare products to make it easy for people to purchase products that dont include any form of palm oil. They started off making & inventing in their home kitchen!

Their products have gone on to win many awards & are a highly loved British brand. Bloomtown is hte UK's 1st Independently Certified Palm Oil-Free Company.

Bloomtown’s Palm Oil Policy

  • does not use palm oil in any of its products.
  • does not use any ingredient derived from palm oil.

Bloomtown’s Vegan / Animal Ingredients and Testing Policy

  • does not use any animal-derived ingredients in any of its products or during any point of manufacture.
  • does not test any ingredient or final product on animals.
  • does not purchase any materials that have been tested on animals at any point during the manufacturing process. 
  • does not sell its products anywhere that requires animal testing. 

Environmental Policy 

  • uses recycled/recyclable materials and packaging wherever possible in order to reduce its environmental impact. 
  • uses biodegradable packaging peanuts and bubble wrap to reduce its plastic waste. 

 Ethical Purchasing Policy 

  • materials and packaging from companies that have a fair trade / ethical workplace policy in place. 
  • does not purchase any supplies or materials that have been produced in sweatshops.
