Kutis Vegan Cedarwood & Rose Natural Deodorant is a natural deodorant stick made with plant-based ingredients and designed to provide lasting freshness without aluminium or synthetic deodorant ingredients.
The formula combines arrowroot powder and bicarbonate of soda with coconut oil and cocoa butter. Arrowroot helps absorb moisture, while bicarbonate of soda helps neutralise odour. Sunflower wax is used instead of beeswax to create the solid base, making this version completely vegan.
The scent is warm, rich and grounding, combining woody cedarwood with rose and geranium, alongside lavender and naturally occurring aromatic components. It's a lovely choice if you prefer your fragrance to be more earthy and sophisticated rather than sweet or overtly floral. Kutis describes the blend as having floral and spice undertones.
As with the other Kutis deodorants, this comes in a 100% biodegradable paperboard push-up tube, so there is no plastic deodorant casing to dispose of. Kutis says the 55g tube should last approximately three months when used once a day.
One thing worth knowing is that this is not the bicarb-free version. Bicarbonate of soda is one of the key ingredients responsible for the deodorising action, but it can be irritating for some people, particularly those with sensitive underarm skin. If you've previously reacted to bicarb deodorants, I'd choose one of Kutis' dedicated bicarb-free options instead.
