The formula combines bicarbonate of soda and arrowroot powder to help keep you feeling fresh, while coconut oil and cocoa butter provide a nourishing base. Sunflower wax is used instead of beeswax, making this version completely vegan.

The fragrance is a lively blend of grapefruit, mandarin, lemon and sweet orange, with peppermint adding an extra burst of freshness. It's the kind of scent that feels instantly uplifting – perfect for mornings when you want your bodycare to give you a little boost too.

And, of course, there's the wonderfully simple packaging: a 100% biodegradable paperboard push-up tube rather than a conventional plastic deodorant container.

  • Kutis Vegan Grapefruit & Mandarin Natural Deodorant is a natural deodorant stick designed to keep you feeling fresh throughout the day, using a simple combination of plant-based ingredients and essential oils.

    The formula combines bicarbonate of soda and arrowroot powder to help provide odour protection and absorb moisture, while coconut oil and cocoa butter create a nourishing base. Sunflower wax replaces beeswax in this version, making the deodorant completely vegan.

    The scent is bright, fresh and uplifting, with grapefruit and mandarin at the heart of the blend, alongside lemon, sweet orange and peppermint. It's a lovely citrus combination that feels particularly fresh and energising without being overly sweet.

    Kutis carefully selects the essential oil blends used in its deodorants for their odour-fighting and antibacterial properties. The products are handmade in rural Mid-Wales using mainly organic and always natural ingredients.

    I also love the packaging. The deodorant comes in a 100% biodegradable paperboard push-up tube, so you get a genuinely plastic-free alternative to conventional deodorant packaging.

    The 55g tube is designed to last around three months when used once a day.

    One thing to be aware of is that this is the bicarbonate-of-soda version of the Grapefruit & Mandarin deodorant. If your underarms are sensitive to bicarb, Kutis also makes a dedicated Grapefruit & Mandarin Bicarb Free version.
