Earth Harbor's formula combines marine postbiotics, botanical hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, witch hazel water and a blend of wildcrafted botanicals to hydrate, soften and support a more balanced-looking complexion. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling fresh, plump and comfortable rather than coated.

I particularly like it for anyone who wants hydration without a heavy moisturising feel. It works beautifully layered underneath your usual serum and moisturiser, but can also be used on its own as a lightweight hydrator when your skin doesn't need anything richer.

  • Earth Harbor Cloudburst Plumping Balance Essence is a lightweight gel-to-liquid essence designed to give skin a burst of hydration while helping to balance and prepare the skin for the rest of your skincare routine.

    The formula combines marine postbiotics, botanical hyaluronic acid, witch hazel water, aloe vera and a blend of wildcrafted botanicals. Sea kelp ferment helps support the skin's microbiome, while botanical hyaluronic acid and glycerin help draw moisture into the skin for a softer, plumper feel.

    There is also a lovely botanical blend including goji berry, neem, ivy gourd, eggplant, holy basil, turmeric and other plant extracts. Earth Harbor describes these ingredients as helping to soothe, clarify, refine and support a more balanced-looking complexion.

    The texture is particularly appealing if you don't like heavy or rich skincare. Cloudburst starts as a light gel and melts into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated without a greasy finish. It can be layered underneath serums and moisturisers, or used on its own as a lightweight hydrator, particularly for combination or oily skin.
